'Compared to the 2020 vintage, the Isole delle Falcole 2019 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione immediately strikes you for its more subdued and understated approach. That's not to say that it lacks intensity, because it does not; it is just less immediate. You get dried currants, mint, spice, earth and almond over a medium to full-bodied finish.
