100% Grenache
Grenache coming from 2 different organic certified estates located in Rabòs at a 250 height planted in 2000 with a double cordon training system. We select the areas with more presence of slate mineral soils and thus with the lowest yield at around 2.000 kg/ha.
Hand-picked with 20 kg boxes and grape selection in the vineyard. Grapes harvested at its optimal phenolic ripeness.
Grapes are destemmed and then pre-fermented during 2 days. After increasing the temperature we ferment the most in a 2.000 liters inox tank during 20 days at an average of 25 C. Post maceration of 2-3 days. Combination of pigeage and pumping. Before going to barrels wine overpasses malolactic fermentation.
Aged during 12-14 months in French 300L oak barrels. Minimum aging in bottle of 12 months.
Vivid and intense garnet colour. Expressive nose, perfumed, with volume and well-defined. Includes ripen fruit notes such as cherries, raspberry, fig, plum and lots of minerality. Floral remind (violet) and spicy background (liqorice). Soft and pleasant soar. Refined and sweet tannins with an excellent route. Fresh, structured and with presence.
