Grenache 50%, Merlot 50%
Grapes from 3 different organic certified estates at heights between 200 and 250 m in the villages of Rab s and Vilamaniscle trained in a double cordon system and planted in 2000. Production around 2.500 – 3.500 kg/ha
Hand-picked with 20 kg boxes and grape selection in the vineyard. Each variety is picked separately. Grapes are collected between 7 -10 days earlier in order to keep the freshness also in the first hours of the morning.
Destemmed and then fermented in 5.000 L deposits at a controlled temperature. The most is pumped two times per day until it reaches the wished extraction. Then the wine is devatted and it is kept in the deposit until it finishes the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Finally wine is clarified, stabilized and filtered.
Red ruby brilliant intense colour. In nose it an explosion of red fruit, flowers (violet), plum and spices. In mouth it’s fresh with nice rounded tannins.
