Grapes from 3 different organic certified estates at heights between 200 and 250 m in the villages of Rabs and Vilamaniscle trained in a double cordon system and planted in 2000. Production around 2.500 – 3.500 kg/ha.
Hand-picked with 20 kg boxes and grape selection in the vineyard. Grapes harvested at its optimal phenolic ripeness
Destemmed and then fermented in 5.000 L deposits at a controlled temperature. The most is pumped two times per day until it reaches the wished extraction. Then the wine is devatted and it is kept in the deposit until it finishes the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation.
Aged during 6 months in French and American 225 L oak barrels. Minimum aging in bottle of 6 months.
Vivid and intense red ruby colour. Raspberry, gooseberry, plum and strawberry fruity-jam notes with a spicy background (licorice) Wide in mouth with sweet and gentle tannins. Fresh, elegant and structured.
